Qualifiers for special kinds of tickets for protected categories (L. R. 100/98)
This ticket price system created by the Tuscan region provides some particular categories of citizens who qualify for special kinds of tickets:

The categories that provided benefits are the following:
• Disabled citizens, with a disability of more than 67 %
• Disabled citizens from work
• The seriously handicapped
• Those deprived of vision or deaf-and-dumb
• Disabled citizens under the age of 18
• Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto.
• Crippled or disabled and civil victims of war
• Crippled and disabled
• Politicians, anti-fascists or racials
The above-mentioned categories of citizens, resident in the Tuscan region, can ask for a special regional pass to be issued, which allows the purchase of the following tickets (the issuing of passes is dependent on the limit of income, differentiated according to the categories in which they belong):
• Urban annual passes
• Extra-urban annual passes (for routes of less than 50km)
• Extra-urban annual passes (for routes of more than 50 km)
• Extra-urban annual passes (for routes of less than 50 km plus urban)
• Extra-urban annual passes (for routes of more then 50km plus urban)

You can also purchase tickets that give you the right to:
• Simple urban route tickets (valid for the whole day)
• Extra-urban tickets (for routes up to 50 km, valid for single and return)
• Extra-urban tickets (for routes more then 50 km, valid for single and return).
